How can I place an order with Butcher’s Counter?

After choosing your cut, you’ll be able to add to cart and checkout. Orders above AED 150 have no delivery fee. 

Do I need to create an account to order?

No. You can order as a guest with your email or phone number. If you’d like you can save your details for your next purchase.

Can I schedule my delivery in advance?

Yes. You can complete your payment and schedule your delivery in advance.

Is there a minimum order amount?

No. But there’s a delivery fee added to orders under 150 AED.

We charge 10 AED for orders under 150 AED.

Can I modify or cancel my order after placing it?

Do you offer same-day delivery in Dubai?

Yes, we offer same-day delivery in Dubai throughout the week, except Monday — just make sure to place your order before the daily cut-off time.

How do you ensure the cold chain is maintained during delivery?

We deliver exclusively through refrigerated vans to ensure your proteins stay consistently chilled throughout the journey. Maintaining the cold chain is non-negotiable for us — that’s why we’ll never deliver your order by bike or any method that doesn’t meet our strict standards for safe, high-quality food handling.

Can I track my delivery in real-time?

Currently this feature is not available but we’ll be working on it soon.

What happens if I miss the delivery or I’m not home?

Our team will get in touch to retry the delivery later in the day or in the next available time slot.

Do you deliver on Fridays or public holidays?

Yes we always deliver.

Do you offer free delivery?

Yes, If your order value is 150 AED or more. We will charge 10 AED if your order is less than 150 AED.

Where is your meat sourced from?

Each protein will specify the country of origin right under the product image. You'll find even more details in the product description section. We source our meat primarily from New Zealand, Australia and the UAE. 

Is all your meat Halal-certified?

Yes 100% halal certified.

Are your meats hormone-free and antibiotic-free?

Yes. We have a hormone-free and antibiotic-free promise. We have strict Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with our suppliers and our procurement team ensures all our meat fulfils this promise.

Are your products fresh or frozen?

Fresh. We don’t deal in frozen produce. However if you’d like to freeze at home you can request your cuts to be vacuum sealed to ensure they freeze well and avoid excessive ice crystal formations.

Can I request a custom cut or marination?

Absolutely you can request custom cuts at no additional cost, we’ll connect you to our live chat to understand exactly what you want. Next time you order you can just tell us to do what we did before and we’ll get it done. We don’t currently offer marination but it’s something we’re looking forward to adding soon.

How do I know what each cut is good for (e.g., stew vs grilling)?

Our live chat is available to connect you with our chefs. As a customer you have access to ask any question to our team of culinary experts and butchers.

Are nutritional facts and sourcing details available for each product?

Yes. They are calculated based on the standard nutritional facts for the raw cut. Once you cook it the nutritional facts may change. 

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept most payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, Apple Pay, GPay, Union Pay, JCB, mada and Discover.

Is Cash on Delivery available?

No, unfortunately we can only process your order if the payment is made by card.

Are your prices inclusive of VAT?

Yes.

Do you offer any loyalty or subscription discounts?

Not at the moment but we’ll be looking into that soon.

Are there bundle deals or family packs available?

Yes! We offer bundles from time to time. For now, you can keep an eye out for our shop.

How long can I store your products in the fridge or freezer?

Depends on the cut and type of protein you buy. Fresh protein can last anywhere between 3 to 5 days, check your packaging for the expiry date and go by that. If you choose to freeze your meat it can last 2 to 3 months in the freezer.

Are your packaging materials eco-friendly?

You can return any cardboard boxes you receive from us on your next delivery. Our driver will pick it up and drop it at our warehouse. From there our recycling partners pick it up and process it.

What is your return or refund policy?
