Before cooking, let meat sit out for 20–30 minutes to come to room temperature. This ensures even cooking throughout.

Tip: Chicken must be cooked through — internal temp should reach 74°C, and juices should run clear.

🛑 Let It Rest

After cooking, rest meat before cutting so the juices stay in:

  • Steaks/Chops/Chicken: 5 min
  • Roasts: 10–15 min

Always rest on a plate or board loosely covered with foil.

Cooking Methods

Pan Fry
  1. Pat dry and season with salt, pepper, and your choice of herbs or spices.
  2. Heat a pan on medium heat with a drizzle of oil.
  3. Cook chicken 5–6 min per side, until golden and fully cooked through.
  4. Let rest for 5 min before serving.
BBQ
  1. Marinate or brush with olive oil and seasoning.
  2. Grill for 6–8 min total, until cooked through and nicely charred.
  3. Let rest for 5 min before serving.
Oven
  1. Preheat oven to 200°C.
  2. Place seasoned breasts on a baking tray.
  3. Bake for 18–22 min, until fully cooked (74°C internal temp).
  4. Let rest 5 min before serving.
